Sapporo
On February 15 and 16 in 2025, the ski jumping World Cup took place in Sapporo. ( mt. Okura ) in Japan. Mt.Okura is a regular place to take place the WC in Japan. Ryoyu Kobayashi (Japanese) won 2 days that is a good surprise for us Japanese, his fans as he was not good in condition in the beginning of 2025-26 WC, struggling from no victory.
Ski resort with a night city view
Moiwa ski resort is skiers only place. It is located in Sapporo city, takes 20 minutes from city centre by car. Night skiing is available until 21:00. We can enjoy skiing and seeing a night view of Sapporo city centre. A complete set of ski equipment can be rented. From city centre, taxi costs about 2500 yen.
